TONY ROCK SPEAKS UP FOR HIS BROTHER!
Tony Rock came off of the couch and stuck up for his big brother, Chris. Tony, who happens to be a seriously funny as hell comic himself and a favorite among comedians on the comedy scene went off on Will Smith over the ‘slap’ while performing at PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Friday. He teased the crowd about coming up on stage.
‘If you think you gonna walk up on this stage, this ain’t the motherf**king Oscars!’
One audience member called out wanting to know who Tony thought hit harder Will or Jada’s boyfriend?’
Tony quipped: ‘Mama Rock.’
Another heckler yelled out wanting to know how Chris was doing? Tony, quick as ever, shot back, “He’s still rich!”

“The Only Former U.S. Senator Currently On Tour”
For the first time, Al Franken is on tour performing comedy in front of audiences.
The one-time cast member on Saturday Night Live and one-time senator from Minnesota should have a lot to say about politics and more in his solo stand-up show titled “The Only Former U.S. Senator Currently On Tour.”
As far as anyone knows, Franken is the only U.S. Senator who was also one of the original writers for Saturday Night Live. During his fifteen seasons with SNL, Franken won five Emmy’s for writing and producing. Franken’s known for the Stuart Smalley character he created and portrayed on SNL. Smalley’s ‘Daily Affirmations’ live on in pop-culture lore.
In addition to his comedy tour, which is strictly stand-up, Franken hosts a podcast called “The Al Franken Podcast.” The podcast is one of the nation’s top-ten politics and public affairs podcasts with guests like Sarah Silverman, Paul Krugman and Chris Rock.
He’s also the author of four #1 New York Times bestsellers, including ‘Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot and Other Observations’, ‘Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them – A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right’ and ‘Al Franken, Giant of the Senate.’

Jen Kirkman releases new album ‘OK, Gen-X’
Jen Kirkman’s new comedy album, ‘OK, Gen-X’ is now available via 800 Pound Gorilla Records everywhere comedy is streamed and sold.
The 10-track album is an ode to the comic’s forgotten and most misunderstood generation and examines the flaws and freedoms of the generation that grew up between millennials and baby boomers.
Speaking about the impetus behind the album, Kirkman said:
“Boomers think we’re slackers and Gen-Z thinks we’re Boomers. ‘OK, Gen-X’ is an ode to the generation who grew up with indoor cigarette-smoking and only using a camera twice a year (“if you had a camera in the 90s, you were a photographer”). It’s a darkly funny remembrance of being a little girl who experienced sexism beginning at age four with the town flasher. Throughout my life men have continued to try to show me their dicks at inappropriate times, and society still thinks that’s not a big deal.”
Kirkman produced the first Netflix special by a female comedian over the age of 40. Despite the successful and critically acclaimed ‘I’m Gonna Die Alone (And I Feel Fine)’ and ‘Just Keep Livin’?’, she had heard a few times from studio execs that ‘men in America would not laugh at her jokes’ so she went on and wrote a comedy album instead.
Recorded in December of 2021 at Union Hall over the course of a few nights in the renowned Brooklyn basement venue, the album offers a few useful tools to better understand the patriarchy.
The new album is now available via 800 Pound Gorilla Media. Check out Jen’s podcasts Anxiety Bites & No Fun: the Jen Kirkman Podcast, now in it’s tenth season.
