Mark Ridley has a special place in my life, but also in the history of modern stand up comedy. His club, THE COMEDY CASTLE, in Royal Oak Michigan, which is almost fifty years old is not only one of the oldest, and best run, comedy clubs in the country, it was the very first of the new style Headliner, Feature, Opener, that ended up changing the focus of not only stand up, but American night life.
